2. Product Safety & Montaji Registration
Dubai Sales (Montaji): Products designated for the Dubai market are registered with Dubai Municipality (Montaji).
UAE-Wide Compliance: For products distributed in other Emirates (including Ajman, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi), TutiCosmo ensures all items meet the UAE.S GSO 1943 safety requirements for cosmetics and personal care products.
Standards Adherence: All inventory, regardless of specific municipal registration status, is verified to contain only UAE-approved ingredients and follows mandatory bilingual (Arabic/English) labeling laws.
Continuous Compliance: We are actively expanding our local municipal registrations. Customers and Salon partners may request a "Safety Data Sheet" (SDS) or "Certificate of Analysis" for any item to ensure it meets their specific Emirate’s health and safety guidelines.
3. Professional Use Only Disclaimer
Certain technical products available on TutiCosmo (including but not limited to chemical treatments, high-volume peroxides, and professional-grade hair dyes) are labeled "For Professional Use Only."
Eligibility: By purchasing these items, the buyer confirms they are a licensed professional or a registered salon entity with the necessary technical training.
Liability: TutiCosmo/Octoposs FZCO assumes no liability for any adverse reactions, injuries, or damages resulting from the improper application of these products by unlicensed or untrained individuals.
Safety: We strongly recommend performing a patch test 48 hours before the full application of any chemical product.
4. E-commerce Trade & Delivery Policy
In accordance with UAE Freezone regulations:
Transaction Type: All sales are processed as Retail E-commerce transactions.
Fulfillment: Delivery from our Dubai Silicon Oasis facility to mainland UAE (including all Emirates) is conducted exclusively via authorized third-party courier services.
Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the specific regulations of Dubai Silicon Oasis.
5. Tax & Invoicing
VAT: All prices listed are inclusive of 5% Value Added Tax (VAT).
Invoices: A formal Tax Invoice is generated for every order. If you are a VAT-registered salon, please provide your TRN during checkout or via WhatsApp to ensure your business details are reflected correctly for tax recovery.
6. Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of cosmetic and personal care products and in line with UAE health and safety guidelines:
Unopened Items: Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery only if the product is in its original, sealed, and undamaged packaging.
Opened Items: For hygiene reasons, products that have been opened or had their security seal tampered with cannot be returned or refunded unless proven defective.
Damaged Goods: If a product arrives damaged, please notify us via WhatsApp within 24 hours of receipt with photo evidence.
